Soak 500 grams of peeled fava beans for one hour.

After soaking, put the beans in a pot, add water, and bring to a boil. Remove any foam that rises to the surface.

Add two chopped onions and six cloves of garlic to the pot.

Cook the beans over very low heat for one hour.

While the beans are cooking, chop the onions for frying. Fry them in hot oil until golden brown and set aside on paper towels to drain excess oil.

Chop one cup of dill, two cups of green coriander, and one cup of parsley.

Once the beans are cooked and soft, add salt, black pepper, cumin, and the chopped herbs. Stir well and let it cook for another five minutes.

Add two tablespoons of dried mint and the fried onions.

Let the mixture cool slightly, then blend until smooth. Make sure your blender can handle hot temperatures.

Return the blended mixture to the pot and heat until it comes to a boil. Serve hot, garnished with extra fried onions.
