1Preheat oven to 420°F. Bring water to a boil in a large pot. Add broccoli florets and blanch for 2 minutes. Drain and set aside.
2In a small bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
3Line baking sheet with parchment paper. Sprinkle half the Parmesan cheese on the paper. Add broccoli florets, sprinkle with remaining Parmesan, and drizzle with oil mixture.
4Using the bottom of a large cup or ramekin, firmly press down on the broccoli florets until smashed.
5Bake for 25–30 minutes until cheese is golden and crispy.
