# Homemade plain yogurt

## Ingredients

- 1 liter whole milk
- 1 tbsp corn starch (optional)
- 2 tbsp plain yogurt, ready-made

## Instructions

1. Pour the whole milk into a pot.
2. Add the corn starch and whisk until combined.
3. Place the pot on the stove and heat until it begins to boil, stirring occasionally.
4. Cool the milk until it is lukewarm and test by touch.
5. In a separate bowl, combine the ready-made yogurt with a small amount of the lukewarm milk and whisk.
6. Pour the yogurt mixture back into the pot with the remaining milk and whisk.
7. Pour the milk mixture into glass containers.
8. Cover the containers with paper towels and secure with rubber bands.
9. Place in a warm area and leave to set for 4 to 6 hours.
10. Refrigerate the yogurt for 2 to 4 hours before serving.
