# Big Batch Apple Cider Margaritas

A festive, fall-inspired big-batch margarita featuring apple cider, tequila, and a cinnamon-sugar rimmed glass.

## Ingredients

- 1/2 gallon apple cider
- 2 cup tequila
- 2/3 cup triple sec
- 1/3 cup lime juice
- 3 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 whole cinnamon stick
- 3 tbsp white sugar
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 pinch kosher salt
- ice
- to taste maple syrup (optional)
- to taste apple slice (optional)
- to taste cinnamon stick (optional)

## Instructions

1. Pour 3 cups from the apple cider jug and set aside for another use.
2. Add tequila, triple sec, lime juice, and 3 tablespoons maple syrup to the remaining cider in the jug. Add the cinnamon stick and seal the cap.
3. Tilt the jug to combine ingredients and refrigerate until very chilled.
4. In a small shallow dish, mix the sugar, cinnamon, and kosher salt together. Pour a little maple syrup into a second shallow dish.
5. Dip the rim of the serving glass in maple syrup and then in the cinnamon sugar mixture. Fill the glass with ice.
6. Add the desired amount of the margarita mixture to a shaker with a few ice cubes, shake well until lightly frothy, and pour over the ice in the prepared glass.
7. Serve with an apple slice and cinnamon stick garnish if desired.
