## Ingredients

- 2 tablespoons bread flour
- 2 tablespoons water
- 4 tablespoons whole milk
- 0.5 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon dry yeast
- 2.5 cups bread flour
- sprinkle sea salt
- 0.25 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 3 tablespoons softened butter
- 1 egg
- white truffle butter

## Instructions

1. Add 2 tablespoons of bread flour, 2 tablespoons of water, and 4 tablespoons of whole milk to a pot.
2. Whisk for about a minute over medium heat.
3. Heat half a cup of milk in the microwave until just warm.
4. Add a tablespoon of dry yeast to the warm milk.
5. Let the yeast wake up for about 10 minutes.
6. In a mixing bowl, add 2 and a half cups of bread flour, a sprinkle of sea salt, and a quarter cup of sugar.
7. Combine with the milk mixture, one egg, and the goopy mixture (from step 2).
8. Start the mixer on low.
9. Once it starts to come together, add in 3 tablespoons of softened butter.
10. Mix at medium speed until well combined.
11. Place the dough into a lightly greased bowl.
12. Cover the bowl with a damp towel for two hours.
13. Once the dough is nice and thick, give it a whack and divide it into 7 equal pieces.
14. Pinch in the bottom of each ball, then flip it over, and gently roll it around without any flour until it makes a nice perfect ball shape.
15. Add these to an oiled pan.
16. Cover again for an hour and a half.
17. Make an egg wash by whisking one egg.
18. Lightly brush all your buns with the egg wash.
19. Place them in the oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for about half an hour.
20. Brush with white truffle butter.
