## Ingredients

- 1 bag black eyed peas
- 2 ham hocks
- 1 lb ham steak
- 1 onion
- 1 carrot
- 1 tablespoon chunky garlic
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 tablespoon crushed oregano
- 1 tablespoon fresh cracked pepper
- 1 tablespoon beef bouillon
- 4 bay leaves
- 1 cup tap water

## Instructions

1. Put the black eyed peas in the Instant Pot.
2. Add two ham hocks.
3. Add the chopped ham steak, including the bone.
4. Add one chopped onion.
5. Add one chopped carrot.
6. Add one tablespoon of chunky garlic.
7. Add one tablespoon of salt.
8. Add one tablespoon of crushed oregano.
9. Add fresh cracked pepper to taste.
10. Add one tablespoon of beef bouillon.
11. Add four bay leaves.
12. Add enough tap water to cover everything.
13. Cook on high pressure for 1 hour and 30 minutes, then do a natural release.
