## Ingredients

- 6 ounces candy melts
- 2 tablespoons light corn syrup
- 1 oil-based food coloring

## Instructions

1. Measure out 6 ounces of candy melts using a scale.
2. Put the candy melts in the microwave for one minute, then stir well.
3. Put the melted candy melts back in the microwave in 30-second increments until completely melted.
4. Add oil-based food coloring to the melted candy melts to reach the desired color.
5. Add two tablespoons (or one fluid ounce) of light corn syrup.
6. Mix well until a Play-Doh-like consistency is formed. This sets up quickly, so work fast.
7. Remove the mixture from the bowl and place it on a piece of saran wrap.
8. Fold the saran wrap over the mixture and press it flat.
9. Let the mixture rest at room temperature for about an hour or overnight.
10. Knead the modeling chocolate until it becomes soft and supple. Add fondant for more stretch if needed.
11. Store the modeling chocolate in sealed Ziploc bags to keep it from hardening.
12. Cut a portion of modeling chocolate and microwave it for 5 seconds before using it in silicone molds.
13. Press the warmed modeling chocolate into silicone molds and let it set for a few minutes.
