## Ingredients

- 0.5 pound ground pork
- 0.5 pound ground beef
- 2 cups rice
- 1 onion
- 1 garlic
- 1 butter
- 1 oil
- 1 celery
- 1 sauteed pepper
- 1 kosher salt
- 1 black pepper
- 1 dried parsley
- 1 Granny Smith apples
- 1 tomato sauce
- 1 sour cream
- 1 cabbage

## Instructions

1. Start by taking some of the core out of the cabbage.
2. Make slits at the top of the leaves around the core so that the leaves would separate.
3. Wash the cabbage.
4. Add 2 cups of somewhat undercooked rice to the bowl with the half a pound of ground pork and half a pound of ground beef.
5. Add sauteed onion with a little garlic to the meat and rice mixture.
6. Add sauteed celery, sauteed pepper, kosher salt, black pepper, and dried parsley to the mixture and mix well.
7. Cook the cabbage until you can roll the filling in it.
8. Peel off the leaves of the cabbage until they stop peeling.
9. Cut some of the thick part off the leaves to facilitate the wrapping.
10. Fold down the back, the end, and fold in the ends of the cabbage leaf, then wrap around the filling.
11. Line the pot so that you can put the galumpki right in.
12. Salt and pepper the leaves.
13. Fit the galumpkis across the bottom of the pot and make a nice layer.
14. Sprinkle apples over the galumpkis.
15. Mix cabbage water with tomato sauce, add to the galumpkis, add more salt.
16. Cover with cabbage leaves.
17. Add sour cream to the gravy.
