- Adjust the amount of red pepper flakes to your spice preference for a mild or bold flavor.
- For optimal flavor and texture, use fresh cod fillets and high-quality ingredients like extra virgin olive oil and fresh parsley.
- Ensure the fish is cooked until flaky but not overcooked to maintain its tenderness and moisture.
- Allow the white wine to reduce by half to concentrate its flavors before adding the stock or water, enhancing the sauce's depth.
- Adding cold butter at the end helps to thicken the sauce and give it a glossy finish, improving both texture and taste.
- You can substitute cod with other white fish like haddock or tilapia for a similar result.
- If white wine is not preferred, vegetable or chicken stock can be used as an alternative for the sauce base.
- To intensify the herb flavor, you can add fresh dill or chives along with parsley as a garnish.
