## Tips

- Using waxy potatoes can improve cooking quality and keep them together.
- When grating potatoes and onions, a fine shred results in a crispy texture and ensures a balanced onion flavor throughout the mix.
- Squeezing excess liquid from grated potatoes is important as this will result in crispier hash browns.
- Cooking the hash browns in a hot pan seals the ingredients and creates texture.
