- Language: en

## Ingredients

- 2 handful uppad pacheer (salt-brined jackfruit)

- 1 tablespoon coriander seeds
- 1 handful grated coconut

2. Soak short-grained rice for 2-3 hours.
3. Drain water from the rice and add all ingredients (rice, dry red chilies, coriander seeds, grated coconut, uppad pacheer) to a mixer jar.
4. Grind the mixture in small batches without adding water until it forms a smooth paste.
5. Taste the paste for salt and adjust if necessary, also adjusting jackfruit quantity as preferred.
6. Take a clean banana leaf and gently press a small ball of the dough onto it, forming a flat disc.
7. Flip the pressed dough onto a cast iron pan.
8. Slow cook the rotti, applying ghee from time to time, until golden and cooked through.
9. Serve hot.
