# Butter Cookies

These crisp, delicious butter cookies have lots of amazing butter flavor and a melt in your mouth consistency that will have you coming back for more.

## Ingredients

- 1 cup butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 whole egg yolk
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 2 cup flour

## Instructions

1. Mix butter, sugar, and salt until fluffy.
2. Add egg yolks and vanilla, then mix.
3. Add flour and mix, then scrape the bowl.
4. Shape dough into a log on plastic wrap and wrap a paper towel roll around it to maintain shape.
5. Chill the dough.
6. Unwrap and slice.
