# Lemon Cookies

## Ingredients

- 0.5 cup Sugar
- Lemon zest
- 1.5 cup Flour
- smidge Baking powder
- 0.75 cup Melted butter
- 2 Egg
- Lemon juice
- smidge Butter for icing
- Cream cheese
- 1.5 cup Powdered sugar

## Instructions

1. Add half a cup of sugar to a bowl.
2. Add some lemon zest to the sugar.
3. Mix the lemon zest and sugar together with your hands to create lemon sugar.
4. Add one cup of flour to the lemon sugar mixture.
5. Add a smidge of baking powder.
6. Add three quarters of a cup of melted butter.
7. Mix the ingredients together.
8. Add one egg at a time, mixing after each addition.
9. Add some lemon juice.
10. Add one and a half more cups of flour to the mixture.
11. Form little balls with the dough.
12. Place the dough balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper in a baking dish.
13. Put the baking dish into the oven.
14. Make the icing by adding butter, cream cheese, lemon juice, and one and a half cups of powdered sugar to a bowl.
15. Take the baked cookies out of the oven.
16. Drizzle the icing onto the lemon cookies.
17. Enjoy the lemon cookies.
