# Oyakodon with a twist

We're making Oyakodon, but instead of cooking the chicken in the broth, we're sauteing it with some teriyaki elements.

- Cuisine: Chinese
- Category: Soup
- Language: en

## Ingredients

- deboned drumsticks
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 0.5 tbsp dark soy sauce
- 1.25 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- sliced onions
- dashi broth
- eggs
- scallions
- togarashi
- egg yolk

## Instructions

1. Starting off with some deboned drumsticks, you want to marinate it with the ingredients on the screen and then go straight into the pan.
2. Cook it until 75% done and then add in your sliced onions and then top it off with some dashi broth.
3. Let that simmer for a few minutes while you beat a few eggs on the side.
4. And then once the chicken is done, you can fill in the gaps with your beaten eggs and then let it simmer for a little bit more until the eggs are cooked to your liking.
5. Serve it over a big bowl of rice, and I like to top mine off with some scallions, togarashi and an egg yolk.
