# Lemon Drops

A recipe for making a batch of lemon drop shots for the weekend.

## Ingredients

- 1 cup water
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 cups vodka
- 1 cup fresh lemon juice

## Instructions

1. Boil 1 cup of water and dump 1 cup of sugar in it.
2. Stir the sugar until it dissolves.
3. Let it chill to make simple syrup.
4. Pour 2 cups of vodka into an empty 1-liter bottle using a funnel.
5. Juice 5-6 lemons to get 1 cup of fresh lemon juice.
6. Strain the lemon juice into the bottle with vodka.
7. Shake the bottle to mix the contents.
8. Pour 1 cup of simple syrup into the bottle.
9. Shake the bottle again to mix the contents.
10. Fill the rest of the bottle with water.
11. Put some sugar on a plate.
12. Pour the mixture into a shot dispenser.
13. Wet the rim of the shot glass with a lemon wedge.
14. Dip the wet rim of the shot glass into the sugar on the plate.
15. Pour the lemon drop mixture into the prepared shot glasses.
