# Cheddar bay biscuit Chicken pot pie

## Ingredients

- 4 whole chicken thigh
- 6 whole chicken tender
- 2 tbsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp onion powder
- 1/2 tbsp oregano
- 1 tbsp paprika
- olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 whole yellow onion, diced
- 2 whole carrot, diced
- 2 whole celery, diced
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 cup heavy cream
- 1/3 cup cooked peas
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp paprika

- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp baking powder
- 1 cup salted butter, cubed
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp old bay seasoning
- 1 tsp salt
- 16 oz shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 2 cup buttermilk
- garlic butter (optional)
- fresh parsley (optional)

## Instructions

1. Place chicken thighs and tenders in a bowl, season with garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, and paprika, and mix well.
2. Cook the chicken in a pan with olive oil and butter until done, chop into small pieces, and set aside.
3. Add butter, diced yellow onion, diced carrots, diced celery, and minced garlic to the same pan and cook until soft.
4. Stir in flour, followed by chicken broth, heavy cream, and cooked peas, and mix until combined.
5. Add garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper to the sauce, then fold the cooked chicken back into the mixture.
6. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, cubed cold butter, garlic powder, old bay seasoning, and salt.
7. Mix in the shredded cheddar cheese and buttermilk to form the biscuit dough.
8. Scoop the chicken mixture into pie dishes and top with scoops of the biscuit dough.
9. Bake the pies at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes and brush with garlic butter and fresh parsley before serving.
