# Dubu Buchim

## Ingredients

- 1 package tofu
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 stalk scallions
- 2 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 1/4 whole onion
- 2 tbsp water
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp gochugaru

## Instructions

1. Cut the tofu into uniform squares.
2. Place the tofu squares into a pan with oil. If you want to avoid oil splattering, put the tofu in before the pan heats up.
3. Fry on medium heat for 13 minutes, then flip the tofu over.
4. Fry the other side for 5 minutes.
5. Add the prepared onions, scallions, minced garlic, and grated ginger to the pan.
6. Add the water, sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil, and gochugaru to the pan. Let simmer, then stir everything together.
