## Ingredients

- 1.5 quart milk
- egg yolks
- raw sugar
- flour
- salt
- vanilla

## Instructions

1. Bring milk to a boil. (If making a double batch, use 1.5 quarts of milk and reserve some for paste.)
2. Separate egg yolks from whites. (You don't need to keep the whites.)
3. Whisk the egg yolks a little bit.
4. Add raw sugar to the egg yolks.
5. Whisk the sugar and egg yolks.
6. Add flour to the mixture.
7. Add salt to the mixture.
8. Gradually add a little bit of milk and start whisking. (It might get pretty stiff, but that's what you want to prevent lumps.)
9. Once the milk comes to a boil, quickly whisk in the paste mixture.
10. Keep whisking it over heat until it comes to a boil and turns nice and thick.
11. Once the pudding turns thick, turn off the heat.
12. Add vanilla and whisk it in.
13. Pour the pudding into a bowl to cool.
14. Taste the pudding to ensure it's delicious.
