# Chicken Parm Hot Dogs

## Ingredients

- chicken dogs
- salted butter
- grated garlic
- chopped parsley
- hot dog buns
- AP flour
- garlic powder
- onion powder
- dried oregano
- salt
- pepper
- eggs
- marinara sauce
- Italian breadcrumbs
- grated parmesan cheese
- cooking oil
- provolone slices

## Instructions

1. Fry up chicken dogs until lightly brown and set aside.
2. Make garlic butter by melting salted butter and combining it with grated garlic and chopped parsley.
3. Brush hot dog buns with garlic butter before toasting them in the oven until lightly brown.
4. Combine AP flour with garlic and onion powder, dried oregano, and salt and pepper in one bowl.
5. Combine eggs with marinara sauce in another bowl.
6. Combine Italian breadcrumbs with grated parmesan cheese in a third bowl.
7. Coat the chicken dog in flour, then egg wash, then breadcrumbs, then repeat for a double dredge.
8. Drop them in 350° cooking oil for 3 minutes until lightly golden brown.
9. Add some marinara to the bottom of the bun.
10. Place the chicken dog on top.
11. Add some more marinara on top of the dog.
12. Place a couple slices of provolone between the dog and the bun.
13. Garnish with parsley.
14. Put it in the oven on broil until the cheese is golden brown and melted.
