## Ingredients

- cooked and seasoned ground beef
- fully cooked bacon bits
- sautéed onions
- beans (three different types)
- 0.25 cup sauce
- chicken broth

## Instructions

1. Add cooked and seasoned ground beef, fully cooked bacon bits, and sautéed onions to a pan, mix them together, and set aside.
2. Sort out the three different types of beans for rocks or bad beans.
3. Wash the beans until the water runs clear.
4. Prepare the sauce by mixing all sauce ingredients together.
5. Start filling the jars by adding all of your uncooked, dry beans.
6. Layer the beans with the meat mixture.
7. Top off the layers with the prepared sauce, adding a quarter cup of sauce to each jar until all sauce is used.
8. Once the sauce is used up, add chicken broth to each jar, leaving a 1-inch headspace.
9. De-bubble the jars, ensuring the beans are fully covered by the sauce and broth to allow them to cook.
10. For lug lid jars, ensure there's a gasket inside the lid and tighten it as tight as possible.
11. For regular Mason jars, tighten to fingertip tight.
12. Place five pint jars in a Nesco pressure canner and process them for 75 minutes.
13. Alternatively, process some jars in a water bath for 3 hours.
