- 5 Hatch or Anaheim peppers
- 5 Tomatillos
- 1 piece Onion
- 1 Jalapeño or Serrano
- 1 Garlic clove
- 1 handful Cilantro
- Taco flour tortillas
- Queso Oaxaca

## Instructions

1. To a bowl, add 1 1/2 tablespoons of Jugo Maggi, 1 1/2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 2 tablespoons of avocado oil, the juice of one lime, and the juice of half an orange or one small orange.
2. Add 2 teaspoons of garlic salt, 1 teaspoon of ground cumin, 1 teaspoon of chili powder, 1 teaspoon of oregano, 1 teaspoon of black pepper, and 1/2 a teaspoon of salt.
3. Mix all ingredients until well combined.
4. Place 2 pounds of ranchera steak in a dish and pour the marinade over it, ensuring each piece is fully coated.
5. Cover the marinated meat and allow it to marinate overnight or for at least two hours.
6. Take the marinated meat out of the refrigerator and let it come to room temperature.
7. Over high heat, roast 5 hatch or Anaheim peppers, 5 tomatillos, a small piece of onion, and 1 jalapeño or chile serrano in a pan, ensuring they are roasted all around.
8. Once the tomatillos have changed color, transfer them to a blender cup along with the chile serrano or jalapeño and the piece of onion.
9. When the chiles are nicely roasted, transfer them to a plate and cover them to let them sweat.
10. Add one garlic clove, a handful of cilantro, and half a teaspoon of salt to the blender cup with the roasted vegetables.
11. Blend until smooth to make the salsa, then set aside.
12. After a few minutes, peel the roasted chiles.
13. Remove the stem and seeds from the chiles, then cut them into strips and then into small squares.
14. Heat a pan over high heat. Once it's hot, place the steaks and cook for 2 minutes per side.
15. After 2 minutes, remove the steaks from the heat and repeat the process with the remaining steaks.
16. Once all steaks are cooked, chop them into smaller pieces.
17. Return the chopped meat to the pan over medium-high heat, add the roasted peppers, and cook together for a minute.
18. Add the salsa to the meat and peppers, mix well, and cook for a few minutes.
19. After a couple of minutes, top the mixture with queso Oaxaca and allow the cheese to melt.
20. Once the cheese melts, it's ready to serve and enjoy with taco flour tortillas.
