## Ingredients

- 5 ears of corn
- 4 tablespoons butter
- salt
- pepper
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 0.5 cup heavy whipping cream
- 0.5 cup warm water

## Instructions

1. Cut five ears of corn off the cob, slicing a little thin layer at a time all the way around the cob for the first layer.
2. Go around the cob again, cutting a second layer, and then take your knife down the cob to milk the corn and get all the good milk out.
3. Put 4 tablespoons of butter in a cast iron skillet, turn up the heat, and let it start to melt.
4. Pour all the cut corn into the skillet and let it cook for about 3 minutes.
5. Add salt and pepper to the corn.
6. Add about a heaping tablespoon of flour to the corn and stir it around, letting it cook for about 2 minutes to avoid a raw flour taste.
7. Add half a cup of heavy whipping cream to the corn and mix it up well.
8. Add half a cup of warm water to the mixture and mix it again.
9. Let the mixture cook down for a few minutes until it thickens and is ready to serve.
