# Hoisin Garlic Noodles

## Ingredients

- 14 oz dried wheat or egg noodles
- 1/4 cup hoisin
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 tsp maple syrup
- 2 tsp honey (optional)
- 0 to taste vegetable oil
- 6 whole garlic clove, finely chopped
- 6 whole scallion, white & green parts sliced
- 4 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
- 0 to taste salt
- 0 to taste pepper

## Instructions

1. Cook the noodles in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain and rinse to cool.
2. Mix hoisin, soy sauce, sesame oil, and maple syrup or honey in a small bowl.
3. Heat oil in a large skillet, add the garlic and white scallion parts, and cook until fragrant.
4. Quickly pour in the sauce and add the noodles, tossing to coat.
5. Let the noodles cook undisturbed until the bottom turns crispy.
6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
7. Serve topped with sesame seeds and the green scallion parts.
