# Makaronilaatikko

## Ingredients

- 250 g elbow macaroni
- 400 g ground beef
- 1 medium yellow onion, finely diced
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp ground black or white pepper
- 1 pinch ground nutmeg
- 2 large egg
- 500 ml whole milk
- 1/2 tsp salt

## Instructions

1. Cook the macaroni.
2. Brown the ground beef with the diced yellow onion in butter.
3. Season the meat mixture with kosher salt, pepper, and ground nutmeg.
4. Whisk together the eggs, whole milk, and salt to create the egg milk mixture.
5. Combine the macaroni and meat mixture, then pour the egg milk over the top.
6. Bake until set.
