# Creamy Crunch Taco Bake

## Ingredients

- 1 can crescent roll dough sheet
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 taco seasoning packet
- to package instructions water
- 1/2–1 cup refried beans
- 3/4 cup chunky salsa
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded mexican blend or cheddar cheese
- 1 handful thick tortilla chips

## Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F and spray an 11x7 or 9x13 baking dish.
2. Press crescent dough into the bottom of the dish.
3. Bake the dough for 5–6 minutes until slightly puffed, then remove from oven.
4. Spread a thin layer of refried beans over the crust.
5. Brown ground beef in a skillet until no pink remains, drain grease, then add taco seasoning and water from the packet and simmer until thick.
6. Let meat cool for 2–3 minutes, then spoon over the refried beans layer.
7. Add salsa and sour cream into the dish and gently stir into the beef layer without disturbing the crust.
8. Sprinkle crushed tortilla chips over the top and cover evenly with shredded cheese.
9. Bake for 18–22 minutes until cheese is bubbly and edges are golden.
10. Let rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing.
