## Ingredients

- 3 pound russet potato
- 16 ounce cheddar cheese
- 1 family-sized can creamed chicken soup
- 2 cup milk
- 2 pound ground beef
- yellow onion, cooked down with beef
- green pepper, cooked down with beef
- salt (optional)
- pepper (optional)
- garlic powder (optional)
- onion powder (optional)
- cooking spray (optional)

## Instructions

1. Spray the crockpot with cooking spray if you are not using a liner.
2. Thinly slice the russet potatoes using a grater or slicer, keeping the skins on.
3. Grate the sharp cheddar cheese.
4. Whisk together the creamed chicken soup and milk in a bowl.
5. Layer half of the cooked ground beef, onion, and pepper mixture in the bottom of the crockpot.
6. Create alternating layers of potatoes, soup mixture, and cheese until all ingredients are used, ending with the soup mixture and cheese on top.
7. Cook on high for 5 hours or low for 7 hours until potatoes are soft.
8. Turn off the crockpot, remove the lid, and let it rest for 20 to 30 minutes to let steam escape and the dish tighten up.
