## Equipment

- double boiler

- mold
- silicone molds
- glass mason jar
- air tight container

## Tips

- You can use shea butter instead of cocoa butter or a combination of the two.
- Allow the mixture to cool slightly before adding essential oils to prevent evaporation and loss of therapeutic benefits.
- For gifts, use creative silicone molds like heart-shaped or those with writing.
- Store lotion bars in a cool place, or in the refrigerator if you are in a warmer place, to prevent melting, as coconut oil solidifies below 76 degrees.
- To speed up hardening, you can place the molds in the refrigerator or freezer.
