- 0.5 cup brown sugar

2. Stir the mixture well before letting it set.
3. Add the yeast mixture, a third of a cup of brown sugar, a teaspoon of cinnamon, two medium eggs, a tablespoon of vanilla, 5 cups of flour, and half a cup of melted butter to a large bowl.
4. Use a stand mixer to knead the dough for about 10 minutes.
5. After 10 minutes, the dough should not stick to your fingers.
6. Oil your large bowl and let the dough rise for about 2 hours.
7. While waiting, mix together a half a cup of brown sugar and a tablespoon of cinnamon for the filling.
8. Ensure the surface you're working on is clean and floured to prevent the dough from sticking.
9. Knead the dough well to ensure all ingredients are well incorporated, then roll it out with a rolling pin.
10. Spread soft butter onto the rolled-out dough, then sprinkle the cinnamon mixture evenly over it.
11. Roll the dough tightly into a log.
12. Use thread to cut the cinnamon rolls for a clean cut, rather than a knife.
13. Apply the cut cinnamon rolls to a greased oven pan.
14. Let the cinnamon rolls sit and rise again for about an hour.
15. Bake the cinnamon rolls until golden brown and cooked through.
