## Ingredients

- 1 bunch green onions
- 1 bunch ginger
- 1 fillet cod
- 0.25 cup soy sauce
- 0.5 teaspoon sugar
- 3 tablespoons neutral oil
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 1 bowl white rice

## Instructions

1. Finely chop the green onions and ginger.
2. Soak the green onions in ice water until they curl.
3. Place the cod fillet on a plate.
4. Spread the chopped ginger over the fish.
5. Mix soy sauce and sugar in a bowl.
6. Pour the soy sauce mixture over the fish.
7. Set up a steamer: add water to a wok and bring to a boil. Place a steaming rack inside to elevate the plate above the water. If you don't have a steaming rack, use a coil of aluminum foil.
8. Place the plate with fish on top of the steaming rack or foil, cover, and steam on medium heat for 7 minutes or until the fish flakes easily.
9. Heat up neutral and sesame oil in a pan.
10. Once the fish is cooked, remove from the steamer and dry the green onions on a paper towel.
11. Scatter the green onions on the fish.
12. Test the oil by using a wooden chopstick. If the oil bubbles, pour the hot oil over the fish and green onions.
13. Serve over rice, add some extra sauce on top and enjoy.
