# Chili Cheese Rice Skillet

## Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 vidalia onion, diced
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 2 tsp seasoned salt
- pepper (optional)
- 2 cup beef broth
- 1 can chili beans, undrained
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 2 cup instant rice
- 1 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

## Instructions

1. Melt butter in a skillet over medium high heat.
2. Add onions and sauté.
3. Add ground beef and cook until done, then drain any excess grease.
4. Add seasonings and mix into the meat.
5. Pour in beef broth, chili beans, tomato sauce, and rice. Mix and bring to a boil.
6. Cut the heat and cover.
7. Fluff the rice and stir in 1/2 cup of the cheddar cheese.
8. Top with remaining cheese and either broil for a minute or cover for a few minutes to melt.
