# Southern Style Sweet Tea

## Ingredients

- 8 cups water
- 4 tea bags
- 1 cup sugar

## Instructions

1. Boil 8 cups of water in a pot.
2. Remove the pot from heat.
3. Add 4 tea bags to the hot water.
4. Steep the tea bags for 3 to 5 minutes.
5. Remove the tea bags from the pot.
6. Stir in 1 cup of sugar until dissolved.
7. Pour the sweetened tea into a pitcher.
8. Add 8 cups of cold water to the pitcher and mix.
9. Pour the sweet tea over ice and enjoy.
