# Japanese Curry Beef Bowls

## Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 whole yellow onion
- 1 large carrot
- 6 clove garlic
- 1 inch frozen ginger
- 2-3 block spicy japanese curry blocks
- 1 to 1.5 cup milk
- 1/2 cup frozen peas
- 1-2 tbsp tonkatsu sauce
- 1-2 tbsp ketchup (optional)
- 1/2 whole apple (optional)

## Instructions

1. Heat oil in a pan and cook ground beef until browned.
2. Season the beef with salt and black pepper.
3. Add chopped yellow onion, carrot, minced garlic, and grated ginger to the pan and sauté until vegetables are softened.
4. Stir in the Japanese curry blocks and milk, simmering until the sauce thickens.
5. Fold in the frozen peas and your choice of tonkatsu sauce, ketchup, or grated apple to finish the sauce.

- You can use tonkatsu sauce, ketchup, or grated apple to balance the curry flavor.
