# Soy sauce chow mein

## Ingredients

- 2 tbsp light soy sauce
- 1 tbsp dark soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1/4 tsp msg
- 1 tbsp water
- 8 stalks green onion, cut to 2-inch pieces
- 6 oz bean sprouts
- 1/2 yellow onion, sliced
- 1 lb chow mein noodle
- 2 tbsp neutral oil

## Instructions

1. Premix the sauce ingredients until the sugar has dissolved and set aside.
2. Prepare your green onions, onions, and bean sprouts, separating the green onion whites and onions into a separate bowl.
3. Cook the chow mein noodles.
4. Drain, rinse, and pat dry the noodles.
5. Sauté the scallion whites and onions.
6. Add the chow mein noodles and continue frying, adding additional oil if the pan is too dry.
7. Add the scallion greens and bean sprouts.
8. Pour in the sauce and mix everything together until the sauce is absorbed.
