# 3 Ingredient Sausage Bites

A quick and easy 3-ingredient appetizer made with browned hot sausage, cream cheese, and crescent dough sheets baked into golden bites.

## Ingredients

- 1 lb hot sausage
- 1 oz cream cheese
- 2 pks pillsbury crescent dough sheet
- salt (optional)
- pepper (optional)

## Instructions

1. Brown the sausage in a saute pan.
2. Add the diced cream cheese to the browned sausage and stir until well incorporated and melted.
3. Add salt and pepper to the mixture.
4. Spray a baking dish with cooking spray.
5. Unroll one package of crescent dough sheet and place it in the bottom of the dish.
6. Spread the sausage and cream cheese mixture evenly over the bottom layer of crescent dough.
7. Unroll the second package of crescent dough sheet and place it on top of the sausage mixture.
8. Bake in the oven at 375 degrees for 20 minutes.
9. Let cool slightly and cut into small square bites.
