# Strawberry Cake

This is a delicious strawberry cake that's perfect to serve cold at cookouts.

## Ingredients

- 1 box white cake mix
- 0.5 cup cooking oil
- 0.5 cup milk
- 6 ounces strawberry Jell-O mix
- 4 eggs
- 1 stick unsalted butter
- 2 cups freshly cut strawberries
- 4 ounces cream cheese
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 0.25 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup strawberries

## Instructions

1. Start by adding a box of white cake mix to a large bowl.
2. Add half a cup of cooking oil to the cake mix.
3. Add half a cup of milk to the cake mix.
4. Add 6 ounces of strawberry Jell-O mix to the cake mix.
5. Crack 4 eggs into the cake mix.
6. Add one whole stick of unsalted butter, cut into pieces, to the cake mix.
7. Mix all the ingredients together using a handheld mixer until smooth.
8. Take 2 cups of freshly cut strawberries and fold them into your cake batter using a spatula.
9. Get your 9x13 baking dish out.
10. Spray the baking dish really quickly.
11. Pour the cake batter into the greased baking dish.
12. Tap the baking dish on the counter to get all the air bubbles out.
13. Bake the cake according to the box directions.
14. For the icing, take half a block of cream cheese (4 ounces) and put it into a bowl.
15. Add 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter to the cream cheese.
16. Add 1/4 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract to the bowl.
17. Beat the ingredients together until smooth.
18. Add 1 cup of powdered sugar to the icing mixture.
19. Take 1 cup of strawberries and fold them into the icing.
20. Put the icing in the fridge until it's time to ice the cake.
21. Once your cake has cooled down, go ahead and put the icing on it.
