## Ingredients

- 1 package King's Hawaiian original sweet rolls
- Nonstick cooking spray
- 0.5 cup Butter
- 2 tablespoons Brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
- 1 package Cream cheese, very soft
- 3 tablespoons White granulated sugar
- 1 Egg

## Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
2. Spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
3. Place one package of King's Hawaiian original sweet rolls (12 count) in the baking dish.
4. Use a steak knife to cut a square across the top of each roll, halfway down, and pop out the cut portion.
5. Melt one stick (half a cup) of butter in a bowl in the microwave for about 45 seconds.
6. Add two tablespoons of brown sugar and one teaspoon of ground cinnamon to the melted butter and blend with a pastry brush.
7. Slather the butter mixture all over the rolls, including the sides, tops, and inside the cut portions, making sure it sinks to the bottom.
8. In a medium bowl, cream one eight-ounce package of very soft cream cheese with a fork until soft and creamy.
9. Add three tablespoons of white granulated sugar to the cream cheese and combine.
10. Crack and beat one egg in a small bowl before adding it to the cream cheese mixture, then mix until combined.
11. Spoon the cheese mixture into the centers of the rolls, filling them up to the top edge.
12. Bake for about 12 to 15 minutes, or until lightly browned on top and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
13. Check the internal temperature of the cheese mixture with a thermometer to ensure it reaches 145 degrees Fahrenheit due to the egg.
14. Once out of the oven, let them rest for about 10 minutes to allow the cheese mixture to solidify.
