## Ingredients

- 20 oz bean soup mix
- 2 whole onion
- garlic, pre-cut
- 1 pack celery
- 4 whole carrot
- baby carrot (optional)
- olive oil
- salt
- pepper
- 2 pack diced ham
- kale
- ham flavoring
- 2 carton chicken bone broth
- brown sugar
- red pepper flakes
- 3 whole bay leaf
- garlic powder
- onion powder
- Slap Ya Mama seasoning
- lemon pepper

## Instructions

1. Cook the onion, garlic, celery, and carrots with olive oil, salt, and pepper in a large pot on the stove until cooked.
2. Transfer the cooked vegetables to a slow cooker.
3. Add the pre-soaked beans to the slow cooker.
4. Sear the diced ham in a pan.
5. Add the washed and dried kale to the slow cooker.
6. Add the seared ham to the slow cooker.
7. Add the ham-flavored packets, chicken bone broth, a pinch of brown sugar, red pepper flakes, bay leaves, garlic powder, onion powder, Slap Ya Mama seasoning, and lemon pepper.
8. Cover the slow cooker and cook on low.
