## Ingredients

- 1.75 cups flour
- 0.5 cups cornmeal
- 0.5 cups white sugar
- 0.25 cups brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup whole milk
- 0.5 cups sour cream
- 2 eggs
- 0.5 cups honey
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 0.5 cups melted butter
- 1 can can of cream corn

## Instructions

1. Mix the dry ingredients in a large bowl: flour, cornmeal, white sugar, brown sugar, baking soda, and salt.
2. In another bowl, add whole milk, sour cream, eggs, honey, vanilla, melted butter, and a can of cream corn. You can blend the cream corn first if you don't want kernels.
3. Make a well in the dry ingredients and pour in the wet mixture, mixing it well.
4. Butter a casserole dish and pour the mixture in, smoothing the top.
5. Bake in the oven.
6. Mix together melted butter and honey to make honey butter.
7. Baste the honey butter over the cornbread as it's baking and once it's baked through, poke holes all over the surface and smother over the rest of that honey butter.
