# Original 1965 Gatorade Formula

## Ingredients

- 4 cup filtered water
- 1/4 tsp cream of tartar
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
- 1/4 tsp potassium chloride
- 1/2 whole lemon juice
- 1/2 whole lime juice
- 3 tbsp sugar

## Instructions

1. Add filtered water to a bowl.
2. Add cream of tartar, sea salt, potassium chloride, lemon juice, lime juice, and sugar to the water.
3. Whisk all ingredients together.

## Tips

- You could add freeze-dried strawberries to it and shake it up.
