# Easy Southern Classic

## Ingredients

- 2 cans sweetened condensed milk
- 16 oz chopped pecans
- 0.5 cup melted butter
- 0.75 cup corn syrup
- 1 box white cake mix
- 1 cup water
- pats butter
- whipped cream

## Instructions

1. Pour two cans of sweetened condensed milk into a baking dish.
2. Add the chopped pecans to the baking dish.
3. Pour in half a cup of melted butter.
4. Add three-quarters of a cup of corn syrup.
5. Mix all ingredients together.
6. Add the cake mix.
7. Spread it with your hands.
8. Pour one cup of water on top.
9. Top it with pats of butter.
10. Bake at 350 for 50 minutes.
11. Top with whipped cream if desired.
12. Take a bite and enjoy.
