# Homemade Marshmallows from Marshmallow Plant

## Ingredients

- 1 cup freshly foraged marshmallow plant pieces
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg white
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp cream of tartar

## Instructions

1. Take the freshly foraged marshmallow plant pieces, add water and sugar. Simmer until caramelized and nice and gooey.
2. Strain the peas.
3. Add egg white, cornstarch, and cream of tartar.
4. Whip until you have a beautiful consistency for marshmallows.
5. Put the mix in small portions in a baking sheet and bake.
