# Swirl Cookies

A delicious swirl cookie recipe for Christmas baking.

## Ingredients

- cookie dough
- red food coloring
- green food coloring

## Instructions

1. Divide the cookie dough into three portions, placing each in a separate bowl.
2. Add red food coloring to one portion of dough and mix until evenly colored.
3. Add green food coloring to another portion of dough and mix until evenly colored.
4. Wrap the plain cookie dough in plastic wrap and flatten it into a rectangle.
5. Wrap the red cookie dough in plastic wrap and flatten it into a rectangle.
6. Wrap the green cookie dough in plastic wrap and flatten it into a rectangle.
7. Roll out the green dough on a piece of plastic wrap.
8. Place the plain dough on top of the green dough.
9. Place the red dough on top of the plain dough.
10. Trim the edges of the layered dough to create a clean rectangle.
11. Roll the layered dough tightly into a log.
12. Slice the dough log into individual cookies.
13. Place the sliced cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
