- 4 garlic cloves
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 1 tbsp gochujang

2. Blend all ingredients until combined.
3. Add the blended mixture to your ground beef.
4. Chop the green onion and add it to the meat mixture.
5. Add salt and pepper to taste.
6. Mix the ingredients just until combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.
7. Get your wok or pan smoking hot.
8. Add a little oil to the hot pan.
9. Add the seasoned ground beef to the hot pan.
10. Use your spatula to flatten out the meat across the pan.
11. Do not sauté the meat at this stage; let the juices evaporate and the bottom get nice and crispy.
12. After about 5 minutes, check the bottom for crispiness.
13. Once crispy, sauté the meat with more green onions and sesame seeds.
14. Serve over rice or with lettuce for lettuce wraps.

## Equipment

- blender
- wok
- spatula
- kimchi container (optional)
- fork
- spoon

## Tips

- Do not sauté the meat initially; allow the juices to evaporate and the bottom to get crispy.
- Spread the meat thin in the pan to encourage crispiness.
- Don’t be alarmed by burnt-looking pieces, as the sugar will caramelize and provide a Korean BBQ flavor.
- Eating with your hands makes everything taste better.
