## Ingredients

- 2.5 cups all purpose flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 12 tbsp cold butter
- 1 egg
- 0.75 cup eggnog
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 0.75 cup fresh cranberries
- 1 tbsp heavy cream

## Instructions

1. Whisk together flour, baking powder, and granulated sugar in a large mixing bowl until combined.
2. Grate cold butter directly into the dry mixture using a cheese grater.
3. Use your hands or a pastry cutter to gently toss and rub the butter into the flour until it forms a mealy, crumbly texture with pea-sized pieces of butter throughout.
4. In a separate small bowl, whisk together egg and eggnog until smooth.
5. Pour the egg-eggnog mixture into the dry ingredients and stir just until the dough comes together.
6. Fold in chopped fresh cranberries and white chocolate chips. Do not overmix.
7. Turn the dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and gently pat it into a 9-10 inch circle about 1.5 inches thick.
8. Cut into 8 scones (triangles or squares).
9. Brush the tops with heavy cream.
10. Bake at 350°F for 22-25 minutes, or until lightly golden and baked through.
