# Ranch Hand Breakfast Casserole

## Ingredients

- 1 pound bacon
- 1 bag mini tater tots
- 1 small onion
- 4 ounce can Hatch green chile
- 1 pound package breakfast sausage
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 0.25 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1 can flaky layer biscuits
- 6 scrambled eggs
- cheddar cheese

## Instructions

1. Fully cook the pound of bacon and then remove it from the pan.
2. Cook the bag of mini tater tots in the bacon grease for a couple of minutes.
3. In the same pan, add one small chopped onion and a 4-ounce can of Hatch green chile.
4. Add one pound package of breakfast sausage, break it up, and cook it through all the way.
5. Add a tablespoon of black pepper, a teaspoon of garlic powder, and the flavor time seasoning.
6. Add a quarter cup of all-purpose flour.
7. While constantly stirring, add in two cups of whole milk.
8. Bring it to a simmer until the gravy starts thickening up some.
9. Take a can of flaky layer biscuits, split them in half, and put them in a baking pan.
10. Bake the biscuits for 10 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
11. Pour the gravy over your biscuits.
12. Add a layer of the cooked bacon.
13. Place the tater tots on top of the bacon.
14. Pour six scrambled eggs all over the tater tots.
15. Add a layer of cheddar cheese.
16. Put the casserole into the oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 35 to 40 minutes.
