# Vanilla Paste from Used Vanilla Pods

## Ingredients

- 100 grams vanilla pods
- 1 third cup water
- 1 cup sugar
- 0.75 cup alcohol
- 2 tablespoons light corn syrup
- 0.25 teaspoon xanthan gum

## Instructions

1. Snip the vanilla pods and add them to a high-powered blender.
2. Add 1/3 cup of water, 1 cup of sugar, 3/4 cup of alcohol, and 2 tablespoons of light corn syrup to the blender.
3. Blend until the liquid has a nice dark color (2–3 minutes).
4. Add a quarter teaspoon of xanthan gum.
5. Blend again.
