# Cinnamon Roll Butter Swim Biscuit

## Ingredients

- 1/2 cup salted butter
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar, packed
- 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
- 1 pinch kosher salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp kosher salt
- 4 tsp baking powder
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 2 cup full-fat buttermilk, room temperature
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp milk or cream
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 pinch kosher salt

## Instructions

1. In a medium bowl, melt butter, then stir in brown sugar, cinnamon, salt, and vanilla until smooth.
2. Pour 2/3 of the goo into an 8x8 pan and heat in a 450°F oven until it is starting to bubble.
3. Whisk flour, salt, baking powder, and sugar in a large bowl.
4. Add buttermilk and vanilla; stir just until combined.
5. Pour batter over hot goo (do not stir).
6. Drizzle remaining goo on top and gently swirl.
7. Sprinkle cinnamon sugar evenly and score into 9 squares.
8. Bake until golden and bubbling, rotating once.
9. Whisk powdered sugar, milk, vanilla, and salt until smooth.
10. Cool biscuits, drizzle with glaze, and serve warm.
