## Ingredients

- 1 pound plant-based ground meat
- 0.5 cup vital wheat gluten
- 0.25 cup onion soup mix
- 1 tbsp Red House Seasoning
- 2 tsp vegan Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp Red House Seasoning
- 0.75 cup oil for frying
- 2 tbsp seasoned flour
- 2 tbsp plant-based butter
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 1 tsp vegan Worcestershire sauce
- 1 to taste Red House Seasoning
- 2 vegan beef bouillon cubes
- 2 cups water
- liquid smoke

## Instructions

1. Combine 4 meatless patties (like Beyond Meat) with Red House Seasoning, onion soup mix, vegan Worcestershire sauce, and mix well.
2. Add 1/2 cup of vital wheat gluten flour and olive oil to the mixture and mix thoroughly to activate the gluten and achieve a tough texture.
3. Add some vital wheat gluten flour to a board, then press the mixture into small patties.
4. Dip the patties in a seasoned flour mixture (made with Red House Seasoning).
5. Fry the patties in grapeseed oil for about 3 minutes on each side, then remove from the pan.
6. Add sweet onion to the pan.
7. Whisk some of the same seasoned flour into the pan, ensuring it doesn't clump with the onions.
8. Once mixed, add plant-based butter, two cups of water, two vegan beef bouillon cubes, more Red House Seasoning, a little vegan Worcestershire sauce, and liquid smoke.
9. Add the homemade onion soup mix and allow the gravy to cook for 10 minutes.
10. Add the vegan beef steak to the gravy, cover with gravy, and cook for another 8 to 10 minutes.
11. Serve the cube steak with rice, mac and cheese, turnip and mustard greens, and bourbon candy yams.
