# Bourbon Bacon Cowboy Candy

## Ingredients

- 10 whole jalapeño, sliced
- 1 package bacon, sliced
- 2 oz bourbon
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tbsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1/2 jar apricot preserves
- 1 tsp honey

## Instructions

1. Thinly slice the jalapeños and smoke them at 250 degrees.
2. Cook the sliced bacon pieces in a saucepan and drain the grease.
3. Add the bourbon, light brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, black pepper, minced garlic, apricot preserves, and honey to the pan.
4. Stir the mixture and simmer for 10 minutes.
5. Add the smoked jalapeños to the pan and stir lightly.
6. Simmer for 15 minutes.
7. Refrigerate the mixture for a few hours before serving.
