# Beef Karahi

## Ingredients

- beef, cubed
- oil
- ginger
- garlic
- water
- whole coriander seed
- black peppercorn
- dried red chili
- 6-7 whole tomato
- green chili
- salt
- 2-3 tbsp milk cream
- charcoal, for smoking

## Instructions

1. Roast the beef in oil in a pan.
2. Grind ginger and garlic with water and set aside.
3. Crush whole coriander seeds, black peppercorns, and dried red chilies together.
4. Add the garlic-ginger water mixture to the roasted beef, add a little extra water, and cover to let the beef cook until tender.
5. Remove extra oil, then add tomatoes and green chilies.
6. Once tomatoes are soft, remove their skins and mash them with a fork.
7. Add salt and the prepared spice mix, then saute for 4-5 minutes until the oil separates.
8. Stir in the milk cream and cook briefly.
9. Finish with ginger and smoke with coal.

## Tips

- This recipe can be made with chicken, mutton, or beef.
- If using beef, use a pressure cooker if it takes time to tenderize.
